PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an operating property, to prevent generation of noise, to reduce the number of parts and assembly manhours and to improve designing freedom. SOLUTION: A clutch unit X is built in a seat height adjustment device of a seating seat on a seat of an automobile, an operating lever is connected to an outer ring 1, and an output shaft 2 is connected to a revolving member of an elevating mechanism of the seating seat. Reverse input torque from the seating seat is locked in the both positive and reverse rotational directions by a second clutch part 6. Consequently, a height position of the seating seat is maintained. Input torque in the both positive and reverse rotational directions from the operating lever is transmitted to the output shaft 2 through a first clutch part 5, an inner ring 3 and a pin 3b1 and a pin hole 2b3 as a torque transmitting means. Consequently, the seating seat elevates and moves.
