PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily make a carriage 1 travel at a high speed by solving a problem in a conventional power and free driving mechanism wherin the stop surface 9c of an antiback abuts to a dog 13 when the carriage 1 travels faster than a traveling speed of a chain conveyor for improving production efficiency by shortening moving time of a workpiece 10. SOLUTION: Force of rocking motition of a front wing 7 is directly transmitted to the antiback 9 by a follow-up mechanism, or the rocking motion of the front wing 7 is transmitted to vertical motion of a hook 8, and is transmitted to the antiback 9 by the follow-up mechanism, and both the hook 8 and the antiback 9 move upward only by rocking the front wing 7 upward, and are constituted so as to position at no contact pisition with the dog 13.
