PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning unit for a vehicle uniformizing the speed of air passing through a cooling heat exchanger and preventing the counterflow of condensed water. SOLUTION: This air conditioning unit is so constituted that the cooling heat exchanger 13 and a heating heat exchanger 15 are disposed in the lower side and the upper side of a unit case 11 respectively, the cooling heat exchanger 13 is disposed with its air ventilation surface inclined in one direction of the vehicle front/rear direction relative to the bottom surface 20 of the unit case 11, a side case 30 communicating with a space formed of the cooling heat exchanger 30 and the bottom surface 20 is fitted to the sidewall bottom part of the unit case 11 positioned in one side of the vehicle width direction, and the air is blown via an air inlet port 33 of the side case 30. A counterflow prevention pocket 35 preventing the counterflow of the condensed water from the bottom surface 20 is formed under the air inlet port 33 of the side case.
