PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charger for a battery-powered forklift that improves the maintainability of the charger including a charging controller on a battery- powered forklift, and prevents a malfunction of the charger and improves appearance about a charger-mounted part by preventing intrusion of waterdrops and dust in the charger via a receptacle for external power source connection and a charging panel part. SOLUTION: The charger for a battery-powered forklift comprises a charging controller having a connecting receptacle for an AC power source and a charging panel part and controlling charging of a battery. The charging controller is contained in an underfloor space formed under a driver's seat floor, and the connecting receptacle and charging panel part of the charging controller are oriented sideway in the underfloor space. An openable cover designed to open and close between the connecting receptacle and charging panel part and the exterior is arranged in a floor side plate.
