PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a photosetting resin sheet having good quality such as surface smoothness or the like with high productivity capable of facilitating a reduction in thickness of the sheet and molding the sheet having a wide area without damage. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the photosetting resin sheet comprises the steps of placing and opposing a pair of plate-like molds for transmitting an active energy through at least one mold at a prescribed interval, sealing and forming its periphery, casting a photosetting resin in a molding cavity made by fixing films to inner surfaces of the pair of the molds via adhesive layers, emitting the active energy beam to the resin through the molds for transmitting the energy beam to cure the resin, and then releasing a photosetting resin molding from the molds to obtain the resin sheet. In this method, a thickness of the adhesive layer is 1 to 30μm.
