BODY STRUCTURE ASSEMBLY OF AUTOMOBILE HAVING FIXING MEANS FOR APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body structure assembly of an automobile having a fixing means for an apparatus without reducing or destroying collapse ability of longitudinal members in a longitudinal direction at a time of collision. SOLUTION: The body structure assembly of an automobile comprises: a body structural member 10 for mounting the apparatus of the automobile; and a strong small room forming an vehicle compartment. The structural member 10 extends from the small room and has the two longitudinal members 14 that are influenced by the collision in the longitudinal direction to collapse and deform in the longitudinal direction. A suspension arm 26 that is one of apparatuses of the automobile is fixed to the longitudinal members 14 through two rigid fixing means 34 lineally arranged in a lateral direction so that the material of the longitudinal members 14 keeps uniform deformation characteristics at the time of collision.
