<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent bedsore of a human body caused by a blood flow hindrance by an excessive pressure to the skin when using a hard cushion for a long time on a bed or a wheelchair by real-time measuring the pressure of the pressed portion and the skin blood flow and by analyzing them. SOLUTION: This sensor is so formed that an optical fiber 2 is laid and fixed in a transparent bag 1 formed of a flat, soft, and less-expansive material with a tube 3. In measuring, the bag a little inflated with air is attached to the skin and the tube 3 is connected to a pressure gage. The contact pressure value is obtained by measuring the internal pressure of the bag when oppression is applied thereon, and the optical fiber 2 is connected to a laser blood flowmeter so that the blood pressure changes are measured by scattering a light-emitted laser beam under the skin and receiving the light. The contact pressure and the blood pressure of the same portion can be thus simultaneously measured.</p> |
