PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel control device for a vehicle, allowing the control of a creep phenomenon. SOLUTION: The vehicle, wherein the output of an engine 10 is transmitted via a torque converter 11 and forward/reverse change-over clutches 24, 25 to an output shaft, comprises a forward/reverse change-over valve 40 provided in a supply circuit for working fluid to the clutches 24, 25, a pressure control valve 53 for controlling the pressure of the fluid to the clutches 24, 25, a forward/reverse detecting switch 61 for outputting a signal showing that the forward/ reverse change-over valve is operated for either forward or reverse movement, detecting means 64 for detecting that an accelerator pedal is not actuated, speed detecting means 65, and a pressure control valve 53 for comparing a preset speed with a speed signal V from a speed sensor when the signal is input from the forward/reverse detecting switch 61 and the accelerator pedal is not actuated and for controlling the vehicle speed V to correspond to the set speed. |
