PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polycarbonate film with a hard coat layer having no surface scratch and its production method. SOLUTION: While a long polycarbonate film 1 having one side 1a on which a hard coat layer is to be formed and the other side, both sides being protected by protective films 1c, 1b, respectively, is being conveyed from a feed machine 2 via rolling guide rollers R1-R9, the protective film 1c on the side 1a on which the hard coat layer is to be formed is peeled from the polycarbonate film to expose the side 1a on which the hard coat layer is to be formed; the exposed side 1a is coated 3 with a hard coat agent and dried 4 to form a hard coat layer; and thus coated polycarbonate film is conveyed via rolling guide rollers R10-R14 and is wound up by a winder 7.
