PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic massage machine for automatically changing the raising/lowering angle of a backrest part corresponding to the treating operation of a massage mechanism incorporated in the backrest part and performing massage at an effective angle with treatment effects at all times. SOLUTION: This massage machine for which the freely movable treating mechanism 7 capable of performing the plural massage treating operations is incorporated inside a motor-driven backrest part 1 capable of being raised and brought down is provided with a raising/lowering program for respectively setting the raising/lowering angle of the backrest part 1 suited to the respective massage operations. By arbitrarily selecting and specifying the massage operation, a raising /lowering change operation is automatically performed to the angle of the backrest part according to the raising/lowering program corresponding to the massage operation and the treatment is performed at the effective treatment angle of the backrest part corresponding to the massage operation.
