PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine capable of maintaining appropriate profit balance between a game parlor and a player, minimizing unfairness between players caused by skill difference as much as possible, and increasing player's interest for a game. SOLUTION: The slot machine is provided with a variable display device capable of variably displaying two or more kinds of patterns; an internal lot- drawing means for internally drawing lots when starting conditions of variable display are met; a winning flag activating means for turning on a winning flag corresponding to a winning state if a result of drawing lots by the lot- drawing means turned out to be winning; and a stop control means for controlling stopping of the variable display device so that a pattern corresponding to the winning flag is stopped and displayed on a preset effective line on condition that stopping operation is performed at a specified moment, if the winning flag is turned on by the winning flag activating means. The machine is also provided with a reporting game state generating means for generating reporting game state, which reports the kinds of winning states, in which the winning flag is on, in a specified ratio.
