PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of offensive noise when refeeding paper after correcting a skew by a register roller. SOLUTION: A control device 50 is arranged for controlling the paper refeeding timing of a paper feeding roller 13 so as to delay by a prescribed time more than the refeeding timing of the register roller 8 when refeeding the paper P after correcting the skew by butting the tip so as to form saggingδin the register roller 8 in a stopping state. Thus, since the refed paper P reduces in the saggingδ, even if the paper is carried in an extremely curved carrying passage, the offensive noise is not generated at that time. Slippage and wrinkles are caused little in the paper.
