PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic fiber sintered filter which can stably filter a liquid of high viscosity and is excellent in blocking performance of gelatinoid. SOLUTION: The metallic fiber sintered filter is distinguished by that a metallic fiber sintered body obtained by dispersing metallic fiber to nonwoven fabric shape and sintering the same, and is used as a filtering medium and rate of change of ventilation resistance of the filter medium by pressuring treatment is within the range of 2 to 70%.
