PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dough for a baked confectionery capable of providing the baked confectionery good in mouth meltability, and having a thick chocolate taste with slight powderiness and to provide a method for producing the baked confectionery. SOLUTION: This dough for the baked confectionery is characterized as comprising one or more kinds of ingredients selected from saccharides, proteins, dextrin and dietary fibers, water and a chocolate liquor without containing a starchy raw material.
