PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate change of the disposition of operation switches and to reduce the number of wires and terminals related to the operation switches in an air conditioner. SOLUTION: This operation device is provided with the multiple operation switches 21-24 for allowing an occupant to set a blow-off mode (air conditioner control state), multiple display parts 12-15 displaying functions allotted to the respective operation switches on a screen 11, a storage means 40 storing multiple allotted patterns of the functions of the respective operation switches and the contents of the respective display parts, and a selecting means 50 selecting a pattern out of the multiple allotted patterns. This constitution can substantially change the disposition of the operation switches by changing the functions of the respective operation switches and the contents of the respective display parts without physically moving the respective switches and the respective display parts.
