PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a classifier, in which an accurate discrimination result is obtained and an object material to be classified can be accurately classified and recovered. SOLUTION: Many air vent parts 7 are arranged on lines L passing through the discriminating ranges (a) of a discriminating device 6. As a result, object materials 4 to be classified are adsorbed on the decided line L of the belts 2 through the air vent parts 7 and therefore the object materials 4 to be classified are made difficult to be overlapped and the same 4 are made difficult to be positioned in the undiscriminated range of the discriminating device 6. Therefor, such nonconformity is not caused that the object materials 4 to be classified of different materials are overlapped. Further, such nonconformity is not caused that the object materials 4 to be classified, having different materials are lined up and positioned in the width direction of the lines 2 in the discriminating ranges (a) and the undiscriminating ranges. Thereby, an accurate discrimination result is obtained and also the object materials to be classified can be accurately classified and recovered.
