PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood treatment device and a disposable article for it, by which a single-needle operation and a two-needle operation are performed without necessity to substantially change the flow plan of the device. SOLUTION: The blood treatment device for performing the single-needle operation and the two-needle operation, especially, a dialysis machine, is provided with a blood treatment unit, especially, a dialysis unit 1. The inlet of the dialysis unit is connected to a supply pipe 5 and the outlet of the unit is connected to a return pipe 6. The supply pipe 5 is provided with two parallel pipe branches 10 and 11, a first displacement pump 12 is arranged in the first pipe branch and a second displacement pump 13 is in the second pipe branch 11. A connection pipe 18 for realizing liquid connection is disposed between the outlet of the dialysis machine and the pump 13. The supply pipe and the return pipe are connected to the artery side needle 32 and a vein side needle 33 for the two-needle operation. In the meantime, the supply pipe and the return pipe are joined for the one-needle operation and connected to a common needle 9. The one-needle operation is performed by the connection pipe 18 without substantially changing the structure of the blood handling instrument. |
