SIGNAL DETECTING METHOD AND DEVICE OF DATA STORING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A signal detecting method of a data storing system and a device thereof are provided to realize an optimum equalizer for removing distortion with minimum influence of noise. CONSTITUTION: A signal detecting device of a data storing system includes an analog filter(1) for removing high frequency noise from a reproduced analog signal(r(t)), an A/D converter(2) for sampling an output from the analog filter to a digital signal(rk), a feed forward filter(3) for primarily removing the influence of a future symbol from the digital signal, an NNEQ filter(4) for removing distortion components from a past symbol from a detected past symbol and the signal from which the influence of the future symbol is removed, thereby considering the distortion of a rear part, a detector(5) for detecting a symbol data recorded to a storing element from an output of the NNEQ filter, and a shift register(6) for removing ISI from the signal detected by the detector in the DFE(Decision Feedback Equalizer).
