PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coating composition and a polymeric form each having antiblockingness and contamination-proofness, and to provide a method for using a branched polymer as additive to the coating composition and the polymeric form. SOLUTION: The excellent coating composition and polymeric form each capable of maintaining its antiblockingness and contamination-proofness for a long period of time are obtained by adding 0.1-10 wt.%, based on the solids of the coating composition and the total weight of the polymeric form respectively, of a branched polymer as additive having a weight-average molecular weight of 2,000-200,000 and containing 5-25 wt.%, preferably 7.5-12.5 wt.% of the side chain of a polydiorganosiloxane with a weight-average molecular weight of 1,000-30,000. |
