PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle favorably resolving the shortage of the hot water heating capacity by the combined use of the hot water type heating unit and a heat pump device. SOLUTION: This air conditioner is provided with a heater core 25 heating air by using hot water as the heat source, and an indoor heat exchanger 18 for the heat pump device 11 disposed in the upstream side of the air flow of the heater core 25 and heating the air, and sets the heating mode heating the air combined with the heater core 25 and the indoor heat exchanger 18. When the heater core side heating capacity is a prescribed capacity or less, an injection heat pump mode performing the injection to the compressor 12 is selected and, when the heat core side heating capacity is the prescribed capacity or more, an ordinary heat pump mode stopping the injection to the compressor 12 is selected. |
