PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a conventional trailer connecting angle detection device for detecting a connection angleθwhen a trailer connected to a tractor 1 by a rotation and connection part 3 is bent to be in a condition of a trailer 2-2 is complicated in a structure and the mechanism is expensive, due to the constitution of installing a turn table or a lever on a king pin. SOLUTION: Vertical markers 5 and 6 are installed on right and left side surfaces of the trailer at a position apart backward in a predetermined distance (a) from the rotation and connection part 3, and cameras 7 and 8 for seizing them in a photographing visual field are installed on both sides of the tractor 1. The connection angleθcan be detected by detecting an angleδt facing the vertical marker 6 at bending because the angleδt and the angleθhas a following relative relationship. An installing position of the vertical marker is designated to be apart in the predetermined distance (a) from the rotation and connection part 3, therefore, the trailer connecting angle detection device having the same specification can be applied to a trailer having a different length.δt= arctan[ A.sin(θ+ϕ)-h}/ d+A.cos(θ+ϕ)}]+δs.
