PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nucleic acid enzyme having RNA cleavage activity for efficiently and selectively destroying harmful cells such as infected cell, cancer cell, etc., or a nucleic acid enzyme having RNA cleavage activity adjustable by an RNA which is transferred cell specifically, time specifically or artificially. SOLUTION: This nucleic acid enzyme has a sensor part and a cleavage activity part and exhibits cleavage activity against a target RNA only when the cleavage activity part is combined with a target RNA and the sensor part is combined with another RNA different from the target RNA. A use of the nucleic acid enzyme is provided.
