PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel decorative sheet which is especially suitable for the top plate of a piece of furniture such as a desk and a table and a decorative top plate using the sheet. SOLUTION: In the decorative sheet in which a colored surface layer sheet 2 of polyethylene terephthalate is laminated on a backing sheet 1 of polyolefin resin with the lower surface embossed, and the surface of the sheet 2 is coated with a UV coat 3, the thickness of the surface layer is 25-50μm, the thickness of the UV coat is 6-20μm, and the sum of the thickness of the surface layer sheet and the thickness of the UV coat is 10% or below of the thickness of the backing sheet.
