The invention relates to an air-cleaning filter of the type that comprises a set of fine, soft threads (2) of an electrostatically chargeable material, which are supported by a body composed of a plurality of elongated and flat laminae (3) placed side by side. Each such lamina may comprise on one hand two long side walls (4) to the outsides of which the threads (2) are attached, more precisely at points of attachment situated closer to an upper edge (7) than an opposite lower edge (8), and on the other hand a plurality of spacing, thin walls (6), which extend transverse to the long side walls (4). At the bottom side thereof, the long side walls (4) are formed with a plurality of recesses (10) spaced-apart by tooth-like projections (9) through which recesses the threads (2) may be bent in the direction of the interior of the lamina. |
