Homogenate is separated for solid fraction (solid extract) and liquid fraction and the latter is subjected for fractionation to prepare liquid extract containing molecules with molecular mass 500 kDa or less. Invention involves some cosmetic use based on ability of liquid extract to improve function of cutaneous barrier. These shark cartilage extracts show rather perspective therapeutic significance. Unexpectedly valuable products obtained by the proposed method can be considered as an index of the novel and nontrivial method.
