The present invention relates to the field of instrumentation, namely, to the chute-type flowmeters intended for measuring of flow of loose materials. The goal of the invention is to simplify design and to increase accuracy of chute-type flowmeters. Accoding to the invention the chute-type flowmeter contains velocity damper for flow of loose material (1) having sliding adjusting gate valves. Velocity damper (1) is connected with bumper chamber (2) provided with initial velocity stabilizer (3) for material flow. Under sloped chute (4) there is mounted a cantilever strain gauge (5) connected with microcontroller computing value of flow weight. Flowmeter is provided with hermetically sealed casing (6) and door (7) with box (8) for taking a control sample. Initial velocity stabilizer (3) consists of separate plates non-connected each with other and provided with removable weights (10) freely suspended on a common axis (11). Owing to use of bumper chamber (2) and mechanical stabilizer of initial velocity of material flow it is eliminated necessity of direct or indirect measurement of velocity, but graduating characteristic becomes linear in a wide range of measurements.
