PURPOSE: A method for treating drinking water for domestic animals is provided, thereby increasing the growth rate of domestic animals and improving the quality of meat of domestic animals. CONSTITUTION: The method for treating drinking water for domestic animals comprises the steps of: cultivating organic material fermenting microorganisms in a mineral reactor(12) containing active minerals, installed in a fermenter(11) with supplying the drinking water from a drinking water storage tank(1), organic material such as molasses, and chelate organic acid such as citric acid and tartaric acid from an organic acid storage tank(5), and with supplying air using a ventilator(16) through the bottom of the mineral reactor(12) and a fermenter(11); transferring the cultivated microorganism medium to a microorganism concentrating tank(13) and precipitating and concentrating it; and transferring the supernatant and marginal microorganism to a drinking storage tank(1), and transferring the concentrated microorganism to a microorganism-activating tank(7); activating the concentrated microorganism in the microorganism-activating tank(7) comprising a fermenter(8) containing minerals and activated rot material pellet(10) by passing the microorganism through the mineral(9) and the activated rot material pellet(10) with supplying air; and transferring the activated microorganism to a seed cultivating fermenter(11). The microorganism treated drinking water is added to a feed for domestic animal in an amount of 0.1 to 0.5 wt.%.
