摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical, active control type vibration control structure capable of effectively suppressing a torsional component in addition to the translational component of fluctuation, in a system for controlling the fluctuation of a building due to an earthquake or wind. SOLUTION: A sensor (sensor S1X in the X direction, a sensor S1Y in the Y direction) is installed, at a position where torsional vibration can be detected on the plane of a structure 1, an instruction for suppressing torsion by a computer on the basis of the information is given to a drive device D installed in the structure 1, and torsional vibration due to the earthquake or the wind is suppressed by the control force of the drive device. The drive device D is installed via an earthquake resistant element, such as a brace between structural layers. The drive device D and the sensors S1X, S1Y are to be installed effectively on the both ends of the plane of the structure, so that the torsion can be controlled two-dimensionally.
