PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar circulatory mechanical type parking system, in which waiting time for entering and leaving can be shortened. SOLUTION: In the planar circulatory mechanical type parking system 1, in which cars are parked by using a pallet circulation system 2, with which a large number of pallets 3 as parking spaces for the cars are circulated in a fixed plane, an entering section B and a leaving section C, to which the required pallets 3 are transferred from the pallet circulation system 2, are installed independently, so as to be brought into contact with the pallet circulation system 2, placing on and removing from the pallets 3 of the cars are conducted in the entering section B and the leaving section C, and the pallets 3 can be moved in the pallet circulation system 2, even during the riding-on and getting-off of the cars.
