The present invention is a hot melt adhesive composition containing synthetic rubber, being a block copolymer having specific styrene content, a resin imparting tackiness and a plasticizer oil. In accordance, a layer of adhesive from the hot melt adhesive composition of the invention formed at the surface of a material having plasticizer is capable of exhibit a stable adhesive resistance during a long time of storage. Hence, the hot melt adhesive composition of the invention can be used with a lot of advantages in diverse fields such as disposable materials, packing/conversion and construction materials for interiors.
