PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten backup processing time and to reduce a memory capacity for backup by performing an efficient backup processing for image data. SOLUTION: A backup data file 12 is composed of a page space backup data file 10 and an image substance management table 11. In the case of preserving the contents of a page space data file 7 in the page space backup data file 10, the page space backup means 13 of a plate composition/editing server 6 performs the backup processing so as not to preserve the image substance data of a large data amount duplicately by using the image substance management table 11. |
