PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system capable of setting the print concentration of a printing device from a controller. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a video DMA circuit 2 for reading picture data from an image storage part 1, a parallel/serial converting circuit 3 for converting bit map image inputted from the image storage part 1 in a parallel state into serial data based on an image basic clock generated by a PLL clock generating part 6, a PLL clock generating part 6 for generating the image basic clock to be used at the time of converting the parallel image data into the serial picture data, and for generating a print concentration signal as a PWM control signal by modulating the pulse width of the image basic clock according to the setting of a print concentration setting register 4, and an AND circuit 7 for operating AND arithmetic processing to the serial picture data outputted from the parallel/serial converting circuit 3 and the print concentration signal, and for outputting it as a video data signal to a plotter 6. |
