PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a USB mounted electronic equipment provided with the functions of both a host system and a device system small in its housing and capable of preventing the occurrence of any erroneous connection that the host systems or device systems are USB-connected to each other. SOLUTION: This USB mounted electronic equipment is provided with a USB host control part 6 for format-converting a command or various data as a host system and a USB device control part 8 for format-converting a command or various data as a device system arranged between a host/device shared controller and a USB SIE 12. Also, the equipment is provided with a switch control part 10 for turning either the USB host control part 6 or the USB device control part 8 into an operating state, and the other into a non- operating state and one shared reception side connector 14 to which either a USB cable for the host system or a USB cable for the device system is connected.
