OPTICAL DISK DEVICE AND METHOD OF REGULATING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device which contains an objective lens driver capable of realizing the operation to position an objective lens with high accuracy and a method of regulating the same. SOLUTION: This device has control circuits 10 and 11 which subject at least either of position error signals in a focus direction or track direction to arithmetic processing and adds the signals as an input quantity to a coil for driving in another direction. The control circuits 10 and 11 output such control signals as to offset the influence of the oscillation mode of an objective lens holder 16. An output judgment circuit 20 temporarily limits the function of the control circuits when the circuit judges the inclusion of disturbance components into the position error signals. As a result, the control of the objective lens 3 so as to allow the objective lens to move independently by avoiding the movement while making interference in both directions of the focus direction and the track direction in spite of microdisplacement.
