PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internet telephone system which is capable of reducing the telephone charge of an internet telephone. SOLUTION: When an ISP subscriber 11 is about to use an internet telephone service, the subscriber 11 dials the telephone number of the Free Dial (R) of an access point 200a designated by a provider 100. The call which the ISP subscriber 11 has made is received by an IVR 5 of a VoIP GW of the provider 100. The ISP subscriber 11 dials the telephone number of a required destination, following a voice instruction sent from the IVR 5. The voice sent from the ISP subscriber 11 is packetized by the VoIP GW 3 and transferred to the VoIP GW 7 as a receiving end by the indication of the VoIP GK 2. The VoIP GW 7 returns the packetized voice to an original voice signals, and the original voice signals are distributed to general subscribers 21 to 23. |
