PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide frames 10L and 10R for a single sliding door, with which the parts kinds and the cost can be reduced. SOLUTION: A head jamb board 11 and a sill board 12 are divided into two of long-sized boards 11L and 12L and short-sized boards 11S and 12S, and the short-sized boards are put to one side of right or left relative to the long-sized boards 11L and 12L and then fixed, thereby making it usable either as a single side door frame 10R for the right and a single side door frame 10L for the left. For each of the head jamb board 11 and sill board 12 of the single sliding door frames 10R and 10L, it is not required to provide two kinds for the right and for the left use, so that the kinds of the parts as well as the production cost can be decreased.
