PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the separation of a panel main body and a driving circuit part to be preformed easily in a plasma display device. SOLUTION: This display device has a first process for disposing one pair of substrates 1, 8 whose at least front surface sides are transparent to face oppositely so as to form a discharge space between them and obtaining a panel main body 14 having plural discharge cells, a second process for holding the panel main body 14 by sticking it to a metallic chassis member 21, a third process for mounting plural circuit blocks 20 which are constituted by being mounted with driving circuits for driving the panel main body 14 on a substrate to a circuit holding plate 22 and a fourth process for fixing the circuit block holding plate 22 passed through the third process to the chassis member 21 passed through the second process with detachable fixing tools.
