PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera with a data imprinting function where the control is simplified by switching a post-exposure sequence (winding and shutter-charge) in accordance with the presence or no presence of date-imprinting, and reducing the load of a CPU in the midst of imprinting the date. SOLUTION: As for the camera with the date imprinting function, the camera is provided with a date imprinting part 3 for imprinting the date on a film, a date imprinting control part 2 for setting whether or not the date should be imprinted, a mirror control part 5 for driving a main mirror or driving in order to charge the shutter, a shutter-charge control part 6, a film winding control part 4 for winding one frame of the film after photographing, and the CPU 1 for changing the control timing of the mirror control part 5, the shutter charging control part 6 and the film winding control part 4 based on the set result of the date imprinting control part 4.
