An impervious secondary electrochemical generator of the Ni-MH type, with an aqueous alkaline electrolyte, incorporates a cluster of electrodes placed in an enclosure and made up of multiple negative and positive electrodes, the spaces separating the negative and positive electrodes including a separator and in which a recombination device is placed between two adjacent negative electrodes. The separator is permeable to gas and the recombination device presents a wetting angle of at least 45 degrees, a medium section of pores of at least 10<3> mu m<2> and a thickness between 0.2 and 5 mm. |
