PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for telephone communication which retrieve and provide advertisement information based upon a liking for advertisement information that the user of a communication terminal has. SOLUTION: This telephone communication method is a method for providing an advertisement information piece for the communication terminal through a telephone network. Prior to the actual provision of the advertisement information, the advertisement information piece is obtained from the advertiser terminal and user-related information is obtained from the communication terminal as a retrieval condition for retrieving advertisement information. When the advertisement information is actually provided, at least one advertisement information piece which is retrieved among advertisement information pieces according to the user-related information is sent to the communication terminal.
