PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image transmitter coping with a network that can transmit an image to image receivers different kinds. SOLUTION: In the image transmitter, a single-action transmission key, to which transmission destination information of image data and a data form of the image data are registered in group to a one operation transmission key, and the image data is transmitted to an instructed transmission destination in a prescribed data form. In the image transmitter, capable of performing the transmission through a 1st transmission path for an electronic mail or the like where plural file formats are permitted and the transmission through a 2nd transmission path for an Internet FAX or the like, where file format is limited to one format, a predetermined file format to the file format for the transmission when the 2nd transmission path is set for the transmission path is set automatically in the case of registering the file format of data transmitted to be made correspond to the transmission destination information to the single- action transmission key.
