PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shovel storage space for ice plant which enables storage of a scoop for scooping up ice, so as to ensure feasibility of easy work and favorable sanitary supervision, while not affecting the icemaker. SOLUTION: The shovel storage space is constructed by forming an opening on the front panel of an icemaker 25, and providing a pocket P in the opening, for storing a shovel 28 for scooping up ice. The pocket P is disposed at an upper position of a drain pan 29 in the icemaker 25, so that water droplets from the pocket P fall on the drain pan 29 for discharge.
