PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a block for a retaining wall, eliminating the need for carrying out the execution of work while cutting a protrusion or a recess by percussion even in the case of curve execution. SOLUTION: The front and rear end surfaces of the protrusion are formed as such curved surfaces as to be protruded outward. Even when an upper block is placed on a lower block while forming an angle with it during the curve execution, the protrusion is fitted into the recess without making the corner part of the protrusion of the lower block abut on the recess of the upper block, and the protrusion or the recess does not have to be cut by percussion during the execution of work.
