PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the number of constituting components is increased since it is necessary to provide a plurality of oscillation circuits at the time of constituting a voltage control oscillation circuit of variable capacitative elements whose capacity variable width is small in a conventional PLL frequency synthesizer. SOLUTION: This PLL frequency synthesizer is provided with a voltage control oscillator 3 which is provided with a switchable circuit element group having a plurality of switchable oscillation frequency bands for outputting an oscillation signal corresponding to each oscillation frequency band based on a prescribed switching signal, a switch changeover controller 7 for outputting a signal for switching the circuit element group based on a prescribed reference as the switching signal, and a phase comparator 6 for allowing the voltage control oscillator 3 to perform oscillation with prescribed set frequencies.
