PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an electric trimming function by decreasing the number of outer terminals concerning a sensor device and the characteristic measuring method and the characteristic regulating method of the sensor device. SOLUTION: The output signal of a sensor element 16 is usually trimmed in accordance with trimming data stored to EPROM 30. The outer input terminals 42, 44 of non-connection with terminals 34-39 for writing the trimming data in EPROM 30 in ICI 18 are provided on the sensor device 10. Before the trimming data are stored to EPROM 30, the inner register of the inside of RAM 32 for temporary memory in accordance with a CONT1 signal and a CONT2 signal input to the outer input terminals 42, 44 is modified and the output signal of a sensor element 16 is roughly trimmed. A the result, the circuit characteristic of the sensor device 10 is measured on the basis of a trimming signal VOUT indicated on an outer output terminal 56. The trimming data in response to the measurement is written in EPROM 30 through the terminal 34-39. |
