PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems in the conventional technology for suppressing a temperature of compressed air by injecting water into the intake air wherein the water is left inside an air compressor when it is stopped and it is locked if the water is frozen when a temperature is low. SOLUTION: The water for reducing a temperature of the compressed air is injected and supplied into a discharge port 36. Consequently, the water does not exist inside the screw compressor A when the screw compressor A is stopped. For this reason, even when an outside air temperature drops and a temperature of the screw compressor A drops below 0 deg.C, the water is not frozen and the screw compressor A is not locked. Since the screw compressor A is not locked due to frozen water in this way, the screw compressor A can be easily driven even when its temperature drops below 0 deg.C. Since excess load is not applied to a driving system of the screw compressor A naturally, the driving system is not damaged. |
