<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of poor maintainability in gas-insulated electrical apparatuses that, even if an anomaly, such as discharging, occuring in a gas- insulated electrical apparatus, where the discharging takes place or how and by what the discharging is caused is unknown, through the existence of the anomaly is perceived, until the apparatus is dismantled and checked, and thus replacement parts must be procured after the dismantlement. SOLUTION: Discharge sensors 22a to 22d, that detect electromagnetic waves arising from partial discharge (discharge) 25, together with the time of the arrival thereof, are installed. From the difference in time of detection of detection signals from the discharge sensors 22a to 22b, a fault location determining circuit 30 calculates the location of the discharge 25. Also, it can be determined whether the part at the location determined by the calculation is an insulated part or a metal part, based on the previously stored three-dimensional position information on the interior of the gas-insulated electrical apparatus.</p> |
