<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a mechanical damage and a burnout caused by an unrestricted rotation at a low load or at no-load and to always provide an output power with a constant frequency irrespective of a load variation while simplifying facility structure and reducing a cost by eliminating a governor. SOLUTION: This small hydraulic power generating facility comprises an automatic frequency regulating device 7 formed so that unrestricted rotating speeds of a turbine 3 and a generator 4 can be suppressed below the safe ranges of the mechanical strengths thereof by shifting the rated water amount of the turbine 3 from the water amount at the maximum efficiency point to a small water amount side, and automatically regulating the generated frequency of the generator 4 varying with the load variation to a constant frequency of 50 or 60 Hz before outputting.</p> |
