PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multidisplay device which is capable of displaying images having a sense of unity as a whole without the occurrence of the discontinuity of colors among the display screens displayed adjacently to each other by plural image display devices. SOLUTION: The multidisplay device which distributes image signals foe one screen to plural liquid crystal projectors 111 to 114 and displays the images for one screen by these display screens is provided with chromaticity regulating sections 61 to 64 for respectively independently regulating the chromaticity of respective primary colors, red, green and blue, to be displayed by the image display units by computing the signal values of the distributed color image signals in each of the respective liquid crystal projectors 111 to 114. The chromaticity of the screens to be displayed by the liquid crystal projectors 111 to 114 is matched by adequately setting the parameters in the respective chromaticity regulating sections 61 to 64, by which the image display having the sense of unity as a whole is made possible.
