PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmission element capable of transmitting light with high efficiency by an optical fiber integrated body and contributing to obtain an output picture of high brightness and high contrast. SOLUTION: One end surface 2a of the optical fiber integrated body 2 which is composed of plural integrated optical fibers 4 is composed of one end of each optical fiber 4 and the other end surface of the same is composed of the other end of each optical fiber 4. Each of respective optical fibers 4 is encircled by a clad 4b in the outer periphery of a core 4a. Light is transmitted from one end surface 2a to the other end surface of the optical fiber integrated body 2. One end surface 2a of the optical fiber integrated body 2 is worked so that one end of each optical fiber 4 becomes a lens shape having a condensing action.
